The 1x4 Atoma Diamond Plates feature advanced diamond technology that ensures faster cutting, extended durability, and consistent finishes at each grit level. These plates are securely attached to a standard 1x4" aluminium blank, which is compatible with the KME System.
Additionally, they can be used as slip stones, field stones, or pocket stones for various sharpening needs. The diamonds on the plates are electro-bonded to the steel sheet and then adhered to the aluminium backing, ensuring a robust construction. You can use the Atoma Diamond plates either dry or with water, depending on your preference and requirements.

- #400 Grit: Works great for lighter reprofiling work on knives with lighter chips and factory bevel reprofiling
- #600 Grit: Leaves a consistent scratch pattern and sets up the bevel for higher grit Atoma or low grit Japanese water stones
