The honeycomb structure of the Nanocloth Ultra strops is highly consistent. This structure allows emulsions to fill up the honeycombs, ensuring that more abrasive stays on the strop and less transfers to the knife. Additionally, the shape of the honeycomb fills up and beads on the surface, creating a snowshoe effect that produces even scratches during stropping.
With minimal compression compared to leather strops, the honeycomb depth offers excellent performance. By applying differential pressure, you can adjust the aggression of the strop to suit your needs. Add more pressure for increased aggression or use super light strokes for finish stropping.
The color-coded acrylic base of the strops allows for instant recognition of the desired grit, saving time and avoiding confusion. The identification marks on the strops are laser etched, ensuring they remain clear and long-lasting.
