The Jende Nanocloth Ultra strops are designed to provide a consistent stropping experience without the variations found in weaved strops. The absence of a weave ensures that feedback is the same in all directions, allowing for precise stropping strokes. The honeycomb structure of the strops allows the emulsions to fill up the honeycombs, ensuring more abrasive stays on the strop and off your knife. This shape also creates a snowshoe effect, resulting in even scratches during stropping.
The depth of the honeycomb has minimal compression, which is less than that of leather strops. This feature enables you to adjust the aggression of the strop by applying differential pressure, allowing for more aggressive stropping or super light strokes for finish stropping.
The color-coded Acrylic base makes it easy to identify the desired grit strop, saving you time and reducing confusion. The strops are laser etched with clear identification marks to ensure longevity and easy recognition. They work equally well with the Jende Poly Diamond Emulsions for optimal performance.
